This itinerary, tailor-made at the time of booking, will allow you to discover remarkable sites in the North-East of the Hong Kong Territory.
We will have the opportunity to observe a very special and unique border crossing – the demarcation between Hong Kong and Mainland China located in the middle of a pedestrian shopping street. This district, which once had very restricted access, is now open to visitors with a daily permit.
We will also stroll through the historic Hakka village of Lai Chi Wo, a very picturesque fortified complex dating back over 300 years. This visit sheds light on local culture, notably the importance of Feng Shui, but also on a unique preserved ecosystem.
Finally, we will take another boat to explore one of the least accessible islands in the Territory, Kat O – the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the history, local traditions and the way of life of fishermen (the Tankas) and farmers (the Hakkas) in an exceptional setting.
